We were very pleased to be asked by Louise and James to photograph their Cafe Shore wedding in Poole, Dorset:
Our coverage would mainly be at the beautiful Sandbanks peninsular, at the Cafe Shore Bar and Restaurant, which overlooks the picturesque backdrop of Poole Harbour, and just a short walk to the beautiful golden sands of Sandbanks beach.
Coverage started a couple of hours before the ceremony, at Louise’s preparations in Southbourne. I recommend having photographs from this stage of your day as they make a great start to your wedding album, and I am able to tell the complete story of your wedding day. After Louise’s preparations, Andy and I traveled over to Cafe Shore, to capture James and the guests before the start of the ceremony.
After the ceremony, we took Louise and James for a short walk over to the beach at Sandbanks, for a few gently posed bride and groom shots. Even though we much prefer to keep everything as natural as possible, we are happy to take a few posed shots of the bride and groom, if they so wish. It also allows the couple a little time to themselves, away from the hustle and bustle of the main wedding party. Even though we had a beautiful blue sky, it was bitterly cold, so Andy and I did our very best to capture the portraits of the happy couple as quickly as we could.
Coverage of the speeches and evening celebrations was fun filled, with everyone seeming to have a good time in each others company. Our evening coverage ending with Louise and James’s entertaining first dance, which put a smile on everyones face.
